Isolated from an ecotype of the plant Arabidopsis thaliana from Cape Verde Islands. The enzyme also gives (3E,7E)-dolabella-3,7-dien-18-ol and traces of other terpenoids. cf. EC 4.2.3.167 dolabella-3,7-dien-18-ol synthase.
