Comment
The enzyme, characterized from the bacterium Streptomyces sp. RI-77, participates in the biosynthesis of avenalumate, a phenolic acid originally described from oat (Avena sativa). It can also act on 3-aminocoumarate and 3-amino-4-hydroxybenzoate with lower activity.
