The BioPAX version of KEGG pathway maps is no longer supported. Its ftp directory will be deleted on May 1, 2010. During the past six months, we have received several trouble reports, but have been unable to determine whether the conversion library that we use is generating correct BioPAX files or the users' programs are correctly handling BioPAX files. We ask software developers to prepare interface to KGML, if they have not done so.

As announced previously, the image maps of KEGG PATHWAY have been changed from GIF to PNG, and each map consists of the html and PNG files eliminating the auxiliary files that can be generated from the html file. The final GIF version as of the end of June 2009 is kept at the pathway_gif directory for three months. In addition, KEGG DRUG has been moved from the LIGAND category to the new MEDICUS category.
